Cosmetic dentistry isn't just for movie stars. It's for real people who would like to see real changes. And for Dr. Jeppson and his staff, it brings the satisfaction of seeing people really smile, sometimes for the first time in years.

This photo is of Tina and it shows her front teeth with all ceramic crowns. Tina's original teeth were very dark yellow/brown in color. Her all ceramic crowns are shade A1 (the second whitest shade) and she looks great!

Zane's teeth used to have large gum line cavities (called abfraction lesions) caused by grinding his teeth. They were stained dark with coffee.

They were filled in with white fillings but his grinding habit caused the cavities to reform so we placed seven all ceramic crowns on his front teeth.

The patient, a 50 year old gentleman named Clair, had old silver fillings removed and replaced with white fillings.

The following are three pictures of Nancy, an attorney who banged her front left tooth as a child and it's been dark ever since. We took a shade match of it in this first photo (shade C-1).

Crowning a single front tooth and getting it to match the shade of the other central incisor is THE most difficult cosmetic challenge in dentistry because even a slight difference in shade between the crown and the natural tooth next to it sticks out like a sore thumb.

The second photo is a close-up of the finished case with the all ceramic crown placed on her left front tooth - a PERFECT shade match!

The third photo is a facial photo of Nancy with the case completed.
